Today on MTV.com a blurb about Alter Bridge has been added:

"Creed guitarist Mark Tremonti has entered a Florida studio with his new project, Alter Bridge, to begin work on their debut album, expected this fall. Creed singer Scott Stapp is also working on a side project, though he has yet to begin recording."
